Faculty of Science, Department of Computer Science Autonomous Systems Lab at the University of Tübingen is searching for a **Postdoctoral Researcher in machine learning (m/f/d, E13 TV-L, 100%) limited for 2 years ** The research group of Dr. Shahram Eivazi at the University of Tübingen is working on the Autonomous Design Systems and Embodied Intelligence, leveraging generative models such as diffusion models and transformer-based architectures to construct high-dimensional design spaces. These models are integrated with Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) for fine-tuning or end-to-end learning, enabling adaptive systems that jointly optimize morphology and control for real-world physical interaction. Requirements - Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related discipline. - Strong background in Machine Learning, ideally with experience in generative models, reinforcement learning, or high-dimensional optimization. - Programming proficiency in languages such as Python. - Ability to work both independently and in a team **Environment** Tübingen is a leading hub for AI research, hosting communities such as the Tübingen AI Center, Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, and Cyber Valley. Our group operates at two locations: the University of Tübingen and the Festo Lab, providing a unique environment for close collaboration between academia and industry.
