Data Engineer

**Your Responsibilities:** - **Design, develop, and implement data products on Snowflake**, from concept to production - Build and operate scalable **Snowflake-based data pipelines** for analytics and AI use cases - Develop and optimize data models and transformations using **SQL**, **Snowflake features**, **and ELT frameworks** - Act as a **consulting partner** for business units, translating business and analytical requirements into data product designs - Collaborate closely with **business stakeholders**, **data scientists**, **and AI engineers** across domains - Ensure data quality, performance, security, and compliance in line with governance standards - Support the full lifecycle of data products, including monitoring, optimization, and continuous improvement - Contribute to data architecture standards, best practices, and documentation **Your Profile:** - Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a comparable qualification - **3–5 years of professional experience** in data engineering or a related role - Proven hands-on experience with **Snowflake**, ideally in building **data products** - Strong skills in **SQL** and **Python**; experience with Coalesce or similar tools is a plus - Experience in **consultative roles** with close interaction with business stakeholders - Experience in Project Management - Ability to structure requirements and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences - Structured, ownership-driven, and solution-oriented working style - Very good English skills, German is an advantage **What you can look forward to at our Consulting Unit:** - **Top projects with high impact** - You will always work on key topics that are highly relevant for the performance of the Heraeus Group and thus create real added value side by side with our colleagues in the business units. - **State-of-the-art technology and a wide range of training opportunities** - You will work in a modern office environment with the best equipment and can take advantage of national and international training opportunities to promote your professional and personal development. - **An open communication culture** - In our consulting team, we are always in close contact with each other.
