**Your main tasks and activities:**
**IT Operations Specialist Activities**
- **Monitor IT Servers and Systems**
- Assessment of system data, error and reports
- Determine areas for improvement and repair
- Determine systems and servers are due for upgrades
- **Direct IT Technicians / Subcontractors**
- Directing activities of IT technicians / Subcontractors
- Assessment of current department needs/inquiries
- Development of technician schedules
- **Development Department Policies**
- Developing IT policies and procedures to ensure effectiveness and reliability
- Developing Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Developing Operation Level Agreements (OLAs)
- Developing guides for users and technicians
- **Resolve Help Desk Escalations**
- If IT technicians/subcontractors are unable to resolve a user’s issue, the ITOM will assess the situation and devise a solution to a problem
- **Negotiate Vendor Contracts**
- Negotiating contracts with IT service providers
- Assessing department and business needs
- Comparing pricing and vendor bids with the provided budget, determine which vendor offers the most advantageous terms and negotiate rates
- **Upgrades and Installations**
- Manage updates and upgrades of IT servers and systems
- Support other IT department activities while upgrading systems and migrating organization data
- Introducing new methods to optimize the upgrade process, monitor systems to ensure it remains stable and usable.
**Active Directory**
- Be in charge of all AGG domains
- Creation and management of directory infrastructure
- Monitoring, reporting and security of the AGG domains
- Group Policy creation, monitoring and compliance check
- Managing Trust relationships and Schema
- Creation and implementation of security templates
- LAPS-Management
- Yearly MS True-Up
**Server Operations**
- Ensure licensing compliance for Windows Servers Systems
- Define/create Images for Windows server systems (virtual and physical)
- Ensure compliance between server hardware and multivendor support contract
- General knowledge about networking (TCP/IP, Firewalls etc.) for requesting necessary IP and subnet configuration and firewall rule activations
**Ping Federate**
- Implement changes of attributes and applications inside Ping Federate
- Update and upgrade the Ping Identity software
- Maintenance of Ping Federate components
- Take part in meetings of the French Service Owner
**Virtualization**
- Be in charge of virtualization products of VMWare e.g. ESXi, vSAN, Cloud Foundation. (VMWare VCP Certification recommended)
- Be in charge of Nutanix HCI systems
- Implementation of virtualization architecture design
- Coordinate implementations with IT Technicians and subcontractors
- Conduct system audit reviews
- Server capacity management
- Backup and disaster recovery planning
**CITRIX**
- Be in charge of plan, design, setup and manage Citrix environments
- Upgrading Citrix components
- Development of hardware infrastructure for the Citrix farm
- Knowledge to analyze Citrix components and their network configuration
- Configure and administrate Citrix ADC/NetScaler
- Developing Provisioning concept of Applications and Virtual Desktop on customer needs
- Create Images for Provisioning Services deployments and create delivery groups
**TRELLIX- and WSUS-Services**
- Install, upgrade and manage WSUS & TRELLIX instances
- Check for upgrading the components
- Coordinate implementations/upgrades with IT Technicians and subcontractors
- Define Update plans for new TRELLIX and windows updates
- Direct the subcontractor to approve the needed updates based on update plans
- Perform tests to ensure the updates are being installed correctly
**You have the following qualifications:**
- Degree in computer science, computer engineering, IT systems engineering, mathematics or a comparable subject area
- At least 3 years’ experience in Active Directory, Microsoft products (Windows Server, MS-SQL), virtualization (Citrix, VMWare), storage (NetApp, Q-SAN)
- IT Operations Specialist competences will be appreciated
- An independent and solution-oriented way of working
- High willingness to learn, curiosity and a spirit of initiative
- Interest and motivation in IT issues
- Fluent in German, good English knowledge
