We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (full-time or part-time) to join us **as soon as possible** at our location in **Pinneberg** and with the option to **work remotely**.

As a progressive, people-oriented, and open-minded service provider, Rettungsdienst-Kooperation in Schleswig-Holstein (RKiSH) gGmbH is responsible for emergency rescue services and qualified patient transport for approximately 1.1 million people. As Germany's largest municipal emergency medical service, RKiSH is the sole provider of emergency and transport services for patients in the districts of Dithmarschen, Pinneberg, Rendsburg-Eckernförde, Segeberg, and Steinburg, handling around 268,000 emergency calls per year. To carry out its mission, RKiSH currently employs approximately 1,700 staff members and around 300 apprentices across three training programs. The organizational structure is decentralized and needs-oriented, comprising 45 rescue stations, two administrative locations, and its own training academy.

# **Your Responsibilities...**
Your tasks will be varied. You will...
- develop, manage, and maintain IT solutions to support our business processes
- plan, organize, and oversee IT procurement and software projects
- develop tailored application software and conduct error and requirements analyses
- document software processes and technical changes
- automate IT infrastructure using tools such as OpenTofu, Ansible, or Kubernetes
- implement and monitor CI/CD pipelines to optimize the software delivery process
- develop monitoring and telemetry solutions to ensure system stability and performance
- integrate new and existing systems to enable seamless communication between IT components
- promote collaboration between (external) development and operations teams and establish DevOps practices sustainably
- support system administration teams with technical expertise on complex tasks
- work on-site two days per week at one of our administrative locations in Pinneberg or Heide
# **Your Qualifications...**
- A completed bachelor's degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field forms the foundation of your qualification.
- Several years of experience in software development (preferably Python, PHP, and/or TypeScript) or DevOps sets you apart.
- Sound knowledge of system integration and practical experience with technical documentation are among your strengths.
- You have a strong affinity for open-source solutions.
- You possess very good German language skills (minimum C1 level), both written and spoken.
- You also have very good English language skills, both written and spoken.
