Job description

Full-time, 37.5 hrs **What to expect** * You will implement new applications for the energy sector based on requirements that cannot be mapped in standard systems. * You will maintain existing applications and are responsible for ensuring their availability, functionality, and performance. * You will specify and implement interfaces between various internal and external energy sector systems. * You will ensure the implementation, further development, and currency of IT security measures within the department's software development, continuously advancing them. * You will be responsible for compliance with IT security requirements for the energy sector business unit. * You will coordinate all NIS2-related topics in the energy sector in alignment with company-wide IT security and other stakeholders. **What you bring** * You have a technical education at high school diploma level (Matura) or a technical degree, or a degree in information security. * You have solid IT skills and knowledge in software development (.NET, C# is an advantage). * You have experience and a strong interest in IT security requirements and their implementation. * Ideally, you can demonstrate experience in the energy sector and project management, or have a strong willingness to build expertise in these areas. * You possess strong analytical skills, a structured and solution-oriented working style, and a high degree of commitment, accuracy, and reliability. * You are communicative, focused, self-directed, a team player, and strong at execution. * The desire to help make Vienna climate-ready for the future, together with the Wiener Stadtwerke Group.
