Our client is a renowned payment services company in Vienna. We are currently looking for an Information Security Architect (f/m/d) who will work together with the team to ensure smooth and stable operation of systems and services, while actively contributing to the security of the IT and information landscape.
Your responsibilities:
* Advising business units and working closely with various departments to integrate security requirements into architectures and deployment pipelines at an early stage
* Supporting projects in the role of Security Architect and ensuring compliance with security requirements
* Designing and owning security concepts as well as the security architecture in IT and cloud environments (e.g. IAM, Zero Trust, network segmentation)
* Advancing and establishing security-by-design principles in system and application architectures
* Defining strategies for the use of cryptography (e.g. encryption, signatures, certificates) and supporting key management
* Analyzing and evaluating security risks and vulnerabilities, and coordinating appropriate measures for sustainable risk mitigation
* Continuously improving security solutions and introducing new technologies and best practices
Your qualifications:
* Completed technical education (university of applied sciences, university, apprenticeship, etc.)
* Solid technical expertise in network security, security architectures, and modern security technologies
* Experience with Zero Trust security architectures and modern cloud security concepts, including governance, compliance, and identity security
* Practical experience with cryptography and the management of keys and certificates is an advantage
* Independent, precise, structured, and efficient working style with an eye for detail
* Customer- and team-oriented approach with a genuine enjoyment of communicating with stakeholders
* Fluent German and English skills with the ability to express yourself clearly and persuasively
