Job description

A Snapshot of Your Day  We are looking for a highly motivated Artificial Intelligence Engineer who is passionate about driving digital transformation across our erection and commissioning organization within GS Solutions. In this role, you will contribute to building AI knowledge and capabilities within the organization, implementing impactful use cases, and fostering collaboration across engineering, site teams, and back-office functions. This position requires strong technical foundations, an open and proactive mindset, and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders, from on-site commissioning engineers to technical experts and cross-functional teams.  How You’ll Make an Impact  * Development of AI competencies and facilitation of the organization’s transition toward data‑driven and intelligent workflows * Implementation of value‑creating, scalable AI projects with a strong focus on practical application * Collaboration with site personnel, commissioning teams, and technical experts for the identification of needs, challenges, and opportunities for AI solutions * Execution of regular on‑site interactions and international project visits to ensure contextual understanding and solution fit * Establishment and expansion of a cross‑organizational expert network for knowledge exchange and sustainable digitalization * Translation of operational problems into feasible AI use cases and support of project planning, execution, and communication with all stakeholders What You Bring * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field * Experience in the power plant environment combined with initial exposure or strong interest in artificial intelligence, data‑driven methods, and automation technologies is highly beneficial * Strong interpersonal connectivity and communication capability, paired with a high willingness to collaborate across all organizational functions * High level of flexibility, adaptability, and openness toward new ideas, methods, and approaches * Willingness for hands‑on engagement with site teams, including national and international travel readiness * A pronounced problem‑solving mindset, constructive teamwork orientation, and the ability to co‑create pragmatic solutions with technical experts; fluency in English with additional languages as an advantage About the Team Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization.
