Together with your agile, cross-functional project team, you help our clients from various industries make their data actionable. Your job doesn't start with development alone: you work closely with our clients and advise them on the technical feasibility and concrete implementation of their digital innovations. As a Data Engineer / Machine Learning Engineer, you lay the foundation for future analyses and data-driven services, developing scalable, robust, and maintainable architectures. You design and implement data platforms, data processing pipelines, and data services as highly scalable, distributed systems — in the cloud, on-premise, or hybrid. You are an expert in end-to-end integration of data/ETL pipelines and the deployment of machine learning models through to delivering results within existing IT systems.

Who would be a great fit
You hold a completed degree in a STEM field or a comparable discipline, and ideally already have some experience with one or more of the technologies listed above. You stay on top of the fast-moving Data & AI tooling landscape. You're enthusiastic about bringing the latest ML solutions into production for our clients and aren't afraid to take on tasks across infrastructure, backend, or frontend. Your long-term goal is to become an expert in data architectures and modeling on at least one cloud platform. You have a drive to learn new technologies and evaluate them for use in projects, and you enjoy sharing your knowledge with colleagues. You can prioritize effectively and have a good sense of the right balance between pragmatism and perfectionism. You have excellent communication skills and bring strong written and spoken proficiency in both German and English.
